Arusha is the biggest town in the North of Tanzania.

Kilimanjaro International Airport is situated 45 km from Arusha.

 James is the Owner of Mahama Safaris. He is Tanzanian a certified Safari Guide with more than 20 years of experience. He speaks perfect English as well as German. He knows everything about the animals and the plants and he can answer all your questions about the landscape and the country.

If you are interested in a birdwatching Safari you will find in James also a specialist.

His first profession is a mechanic. So he has the ability to take care for the car at every place where you are.

He is married with Birgit a German.

Mahama is a kind of a palm tree and a fruit which grows in the region James is born, the region at Lake Victoria.

The fruits look like eggs and are orange-brown coloured. The taste is similiar to Mango - Fruits.

There is no export of this fruits, they are a regional specialty.

To find them and to taste them is very special.
